No More Hummel - Adidas Jeonbuk Hyundai Motors 2022 Home Kit Released

We have kit news from the K League as the new Jeonbuk Hyundai Motors 2022 home shirt was released this week. It's made by Adidas, who are replacing Hummel.

This is the new Adidas Jeonbuk Hyundai Motors home shirt for 2022.

Created using Adidas miteam (mi Competition 21 template), the Adidas Jeonbuk Hyundai Motors 2022 shirt differs significantly from the jerseys of previous years. Instead of the club's customary lime green color, Adidas uses a much darker shade of green for the base.

Along with white on the collar and sleeves, gold can be found on their tips. According to the club, this celebrates their five K League titles in a row. The Tiro 19 graphic option appears on the front of the shirt in a lighter shade of green.

We think the reason for Jeonbuk not receiving a lime colored shirt is actually quite simple. As the club's kits are created through Adidas miteam, they are limited to the color options of the customization service.

Unfortunately for Jeonbuk, miteam's color options do not include lime green for any of the current customizable jerseys, so they had to opt for another shade of green.

The K League champions recently signed a deal with Adidas, which is valid for four years. The two had already partnered up between 1997 and 2003.
