Augsburg Wear Special Ukraine Warm-Up Shirts
Today, FC Augsburg played at home in the Bundesliga against Borussia Dortmund. Like many others, the club decided to show their solidarity with the Ukrainian people, whose country is currently being invaded by Russian military forces.
Augsburg Ukraine Warm-Up Shirt
One of the things Augsburg did was to wear a special warm-up shirt in Ukraine's yellow and blue colors.
This one-off shirt is based on Nike's Park Derby III teamwear template and features a monochrome, white FC Augsburg crest. A large black and white dove, symbolizing peace, is depicted above the words "Friedensstadt Augsburg".

The club also applied a patch of the Ukrainian flag on their kits and the captain wore a Ukraine arm band.
Apart from wearing special patches and shirts, the club also had multiple messages spread across their stadium as well as Ukraine themed social media posts.
Several nights ago, Augsburg also lit up the WWK Arena, which has modern LED capabilities, in the Ukrainian colors.
