Some days ago, we compared every MLS authentic kit with its replica counterpart. And while checking the shirts in-depth, we found out that Adidas' MLS authentic kits are not on Adidas' top level in terms of technology.

The Adidas MLS 2022 kits do not feature Adidas' best kit technology, Heat.Rdy. Instead, they come with Aeroready technology, the same as the replica jerseys.

For example, the authentic version of the Adidas MLS 2022 Charlotte FC away kit has the same fabric as the Germany 2020 away replica.

For better breathability, Adidas use a special mesh material on the stripes and on the back.

Meanwhile, the replica MLS kits are also worse than their European counterparts in terms of material. The fabric looks quite cheap and simple, not offering much breathability.

The cut of the authentic MLS kits appears to be identical to the cut of real authentic kits.

It is not known why Adidas use Aeroready for the MLS kits, but the reason could be production. The Adidas MLS 2022 uniforms are made in Colombia and not in South East Asia, as the kits of European teams.
