Liverpool 22-23 Home Shirt Already Available on Amazon

Liverpool's 22-23 home shirt is already available to buy on the Indian domain of Amazon, listed as "Nike Men's regular t-shirt".

Next Season's Liverpool Kit Already Available on Amazon

The photos below show the Amazon.in listing and the product details.

The photos from the listing are the same official retail photos that we shared a few days ago. The only size currently available on the listing is 2XL, with the others having sold out. According to the product details section, the shirt has been available since the 24th of February.

The official launch date of the new Liverpool home shirt isn't until May 5th (for Nike.com members), while the general release date is May 19th. On this Amazon listing it retails at 2,299 rupees, which is equivalent to around €28. This is very cheap for a brand new Nike shirt, as they are usually priced around 4,700 rupees (€60) for the Indian market.

The seller is Cloudtail India, who have received 99% positive feedback in the last 12 months and 89% since they started selling on Amazon. Bizarrely, they seem to sell only hygiene and cleaning products, with this shirt being the obvious exception.

Product Code Suggests Shirts Are Real

Twitter user @Errol_ posted yesterday about having gotten his hands on some of the new shirts in many sizes. He posted pictures to his Twitter account, including one of the product code on the inner label, which would seem to verify the shirts' authenticity.

We got in touch with @Errol_, who is based in Mumbai, and he confirmed that he sourced his shirts from Amazon.in for less than RRP and believes they were put on sale early by accident.

While counterfeit shirts based on leaked photos are going on sale earlier and earlier each year, it is always possible that a retailer mistakenly puts a batch of new authentic shirts up for sale online before they are supposed to. Based on the photos and our chat with @Errol_, it seems that the latter is the case here and that the shirts are indeed authentic.
