PSG 21-22 Home & Away Champions Kits Released - Featuring Star to Commemorate 10th Title

Paris Saint-Germain launched two special-edition kits earlier today to celebrate winning their 10th Ligue 1 title.

Following much speculation about whether PSG's shirts would feature a star following this feat and the most recent information suggesting that they would, albeit not in the 'traditional' place above the crest, the club have opted to customize their 21-22 home and away shirts to add a star detail to the badge.

PSG 21-22 Home Kit 'Star' Special-Edition

Based on the regular Paris 2021-22 home shirt, the special-edition kit comes with a neat Champions detail around the crest.

First, there's a star stylized to resemble the Eiffel Tower above the emblem, while the years of PSG's ten titles are written in a circle around it. Finally, there's a special 'Champions' sleeve patch on the right sleeve of the jersey.

PSG 21-22 Away Kit 'Star' Special-Edition

The PSG 21-22 away champions-edition shirt was customized into he same way as the home.

Both PSG 10 Ligue 1 Title shirts are available to buy online and in-store, retailing at €140, and will even be worn by the team in the remainder of the 2021-22 Ligue 1 season.

The collection includes more items such as a t-shirt, hoodie, cap, scarf. There is also a collector's Rebond football.

It will be very interesting to see whether a 'proper' star will be applied to the PSG 22-23 kits as well or if it will just a small detail inside the league sleeve patch, as reported in France recently.
