Fans Unhappy - CF Montreal to Change Logo Again

Just over a year ago, the club formerly known as Montreal Impact decided to rebrand their identity. They are now called CF Montreal, with a completely new club crest along with the name change.
These alterations have not been popular with fans and now it seems the club are willing to listen and make changes.
CF Montreal to Have New Logo for 2023
CF Montreal recently announced via social media that they would be unveiling a new logo soon. This of course comes as a bit of a surprise since their current logo is barely a year old.
However, the club's rebranding has been controversial amongst fans, who are not happy about the new name and logo. This is clearly what prompted Montreal's club officials to take action.
We have seen similar developments with the Chicago Fire and Columbus Crew rebrands. Both clubs kept their names but completely altered their crests, causing outrage amongst their supporters.
Chicago have already taken action by presenting another new, fan-accepted logo, while Columbus swiftly made minor changes to their new badge.
What is certain is that Montreal will be keeping the name CF Montreal. We expect their new logo to be designed with more connections to the previous Montreal Impact history.
