Everton Announce Stake Main Sponsor Deal - Which Logo Will Feature On Shirt?

Everton Football Club today announced that Stake.com will become the club's new main sponsor in a record deal. Stake.com replace Cazoo.

Stake.com are a sports betting and gaming company. They were founded in 2017. Stake.com have been sponsoring Watford since the 2021-2022 season.

Everton Sign Record Main Sponsor Deal With Stake.com - £10m-a-Season

The multi-year partnership Everton Stake deal will commence on 1 July and is the highest value front-of-shirt deal in the Club’s 144-year history. It is reported to be worth £10m-a-season.

As Everton’s main partner, the Stake.com brand will feature on front of the men’s and women’s playing shirts, as well as appearing on screens and media backdrops at Goodison Park and Finch Farm and across the Club’s digital platforms.

It remains to be seen which Stake logo will feature on the Everton 22-23 kits. While the deal was announced with the main Stake logo, it is very likely that the kit will feature the "Stake.com" branding.

In 2020, Everton Chief executive Denise Barrett-Baxendale said 2020 the Goodison Park club would 'in an ideal world' not be sponsored by gambling companies. Not only therefore, Everton are now criticized.

Various of Everton's sponsorship deals were affected by sanctions imposed on Alisher Usmanov, the owner of USM, in the wake of Russia's invasion of Ukraine earlier this year. Everton suspended sponsorship agreements with Russian companies USM, Megafon and Yota with immediate effect.

Everton also said "that more partnership agreements will be announced soon as the Club lays the foundations for future growth ahead of a move to a new stadium at Bramley-Moore Dock".
