In contrast to last month, May did not bring us exceptionally unpopular kits. However, a few shirts were no fans' favorites - the Adidas Bayern and Juventus 22-23 home kits, Nike's AEK 22-23 tiger print home design, and the Iceland Puma 2022 home kit.
Liverpool's 22-23 Nike kit - clean or plain?
We also decided to include the Liverpool 22-23 home kit - it is not a particularly bad shirt but would we say if it would have been released by a smaller brand like Castore, Joma, or Capelli?
All in all, not very many bad shirts were released so far, also because many teams have not launched next season's kits yet. We expect plenty to follow in June, July, and August 2022.

Union Berlin 26-27 Home Kit to Be Released June 8
German newspaper BILD has confirmed our leak of the Adidas 1. FC Union Berlin home kit for the 2026-27 season. The design shifts from the prior red and white striped look to a predominantly red shirt with white accents on the collar and shoulders. An embossed geometric pattern across the front and sleeves directly references the steel roof structure of Stadion An der Alten Försterei as a tribute to the club's historic ground. Sponsors Adidas, Raisin and Kermi remain unchanged from the previous season.
The kit will be officially unveiled on June 8, an earlier date chosen to avoid the FIFA World Cup window running from June 11 to July 19.
