England's 2022 World Cup jersey typeface has been launched today. It will be debuted away against Italy on Friday night.
According to the press release of the English FA, the "angular typeface applied to the name and number is inspired by industrial fonts used by heavy metal rock bands throughout England".

The Nike England 2022 boasts one-of-a-kind numbers and letters that are sure to stand out. None of the letters or the numbers except the F has a standard style. The turquoise border is much thinner than in 1996 for a more modern look.

In terms of colors, the Nike England 2022 World Cup home kit font resembles the typeface of the 1996 Euro.
The 1996-inspired colors also feature on the Nike England 2022 World Cup home kit but the inspiration is not as remarkable as it is with the typeface.
The typeface of the England 2022 World Cup away kit is light blue/navy, while the black/white goalkeeper jersey has a white typeface.
