Good or Bad Thing? Adidas 2022 World Cup Kit Panel

The new Adidas 2022 World Cup football kits feature designs that were very well received by fans. One reason is surely the brand-new template - one previously unnoticed element of it stood out on the pitch.

Adidas 2022 World Cup Jersey Template Features Remarkable Side Panel

The Adidas 2022 World Cup jersey template has a remarkable element that goes from the top side until the top of the back - a special panel.

The panel is practically invisible from the front but comes to light from the side and the back. It is especially well visible on Germany's and Scotland's 2022 kits, while it is hard to notice when it has the same color as the shirt (e.g. Argentina, Belgium).

The panel is nondescript from the front

We didn't like the contrasting black panel on Germany's kit (too much contrast and unfavorable transition from black/red/gold side stripe), while we liked it for Japan's 2022 home kit (blue-red-white).

What is undoubtedly awesome is the panel of Wales' 2022 World Cup away kit - it has a unique red, white, and green design that can be also seen on the collar.

Adidas 2022 World Cup Side/Back Panel - Bad-Looking Examples?

All this stands in stark contrast to Nike's and Puma's 2022 World Cup jerseys - their kits have plain modern designs without such rich-in-detail elements.

Nike and especially Puma have templates with very few elements
