Did You Spot This? Upside Down Number 6 Used On Harry Kane Kit
If you watched the thrilling UEFA Nations League match between England and Germany tonight, you might have spotted that something was wrong with Harry Kane's kit.
Harry Kane 2022 World Cup Away Shirt Features Upside Down Number 6 as Front Shirt Number
The front shirt number of Harry Kane shows a '9'. However, it is actually not a number 9, but an upside-down printed number 6. The shorts and the back of the shirt featured the correct number 9.
The shorts and back numbers were correct
Harry Kane wore the false shirt in the first and second half.
England's light blue away font was hardly legible on TV
Meanwhile, the visibility (or non-visibility) of the light blue England 2022 away kit font on the red shirt also caused some controversy. It remains to be seen if FIFA will allow it in the 2022 World Cup, or if Nike/England will change it themselves.
