Adidas Arsenal 22-23 Love Unites Pre-Match Shirt + Collection Released
Update: Arsenal's Men's and Womem's teams have debuted the special Adidas 22-23 Stonewall-inspired Love Unites pre-match shirt ahead of last weekend's fixtures.
After Leeds a few days ago, Adidas have released a Love Unites collection for Arsenal, celebrating the progress of the LGBTQIA+ community.
Arsenal 22-23 Love Unites Collection
The eye-catching pieces were designed by Australian artist Kris Andrew Small, who was previously worked with a host of other brands such as Nike, Reebok, Gucci and Apple. He also designed some similarly styled pieces for Adidas earlier this year in another collaboration with Athlete Ally, who are focused on ending homophobia and transphobia in sport; and Stonewall UK, who have spent the last 30 years positively transforming the lives of many in the LGBTQIA+ community. Check out the Arsenal collection below. The pieces are identical to the Leeds Love Unites collection in terms of design, with the addition of a pair of track pants.
Arsenal 2022-2023 Love Unites Football Shirt
This is the Arsenal 2022-23 Love Unites jersey.
Arsenal's 2022-2023 Love Unites football shirt incorporates a multitude of colours and range of design elements such as multicolour typography, pop art and monochrome sections. Inspired by radical protest art, the bold design celebrates the progress of the LGBTQ+ community. "Be Together" wording is found across Arsenal's 2022-2023 Love Unites jersey in a collage style.
Arsenal's crest is coloured pink and black while Adidas' logo is multicoloured and placed within a black square. In contrast with the loud patterns, Adidas three stripes are coloured black and run from the underarm to the hem.
Arsenal 22-23 Love Unites Jacket
The Arsenal 22-23 Love Unites jacket also features the vibrant colours of the jersey but in a more subdued fashion, as accents on a predominantly black full zip top. A colourful, patterned band runs from the collar down to the elbows, from where the three stripes emerge, each one a different colour.
The back of the Arsenal 22-23 Love Unites jacket has a large adidas logo in various black and white patterns, surrounded by multicolour graffiti-style flourishes. On the front, the Arsenal crest is pink and the Adidas logo is multicoloured, as on the jersey. A women's cut of the jacket is also available, as seen below.
Arsenal 22-23 Love Unites Track Pants
The Arsenal 22-23 Love Unites Track Pants mirror the styling of the track jacket. Black with a multicoloured band than runs down to below the knee before differently coloured Three Stripes emerge, the pink Arsenal badge and boxed in Adidas logo are placed on the upper thigh of each leg. A women's cut of of the pants is also available, as seen below.
