Leeds Wear Alternative Orange Shorts vs Spurs

In this weekend's epic fixture between Tottenham and Leeds United, the away side wore a slightly altered version of their regular third outfit.

Leeds Change 3rd Shorts and Socks

Here are the regular Leeds third shorts and socks. The black shorts compliment the mainly black third kit, while a little bit surprisingly, orange socks complete the look.

The combination has already been worn in a 5-2 away loss at Brentford, where the orange socks allowed for enough contrast between the two sides.

Likely due to Spurs' dark home shorts, Leeds were forced to wear something other than their black third shorts on Saturday. The solution was to more or less reverse the colors, creating a look in orange with black accents.

However, upon closer inspection, the cut of the new shorts is clearly not the same as the original one. Moreover, the orange color is more of a golden yellow now.

This leads us to believe that the alternative shorts were created using Adidas mi Team (mi Tastigo 19 Shorts), as this matches the template. Also, the unique orange color from Leeds' third kit does not exist in the customizer, so they had to opt for the next closest shade of yellow.

The originally orange socks meanwhile were also reversed, becoming black with golden yellow Adidas stripes. Both the alternative shorts and socks are not available to buy.
