Mitre 22-23 FA Cup Balls Released - Panels Evoke Memories of Adidas Brazuca 2014 World Cup Ball
The 2022-2023 FA Cup begins this weekend. Just in time for the 1st Round, Mitre launched the official match balls for the Men's and Women's competitions, called "Mitre Ultimax Pro FA Cup".
The new Mitre 22-23 FA Cup football is based on the brand-new Mitre Ultimax Pro Limited Edition soccer ball launched last week. We originally assumed that the standard Ultimax Pro would be used in the FA Cup but Mitre designed a bespoke colorway for the oldest football competition.
Mitre Ultimax Pro FA Cup Football - White/Pitch Green/FA Cup Red
The Mitre FA Cup Ultimax Pro 22-23 Ball boasts a modern design in White/Pitch Green/FA Cup Red. The FA Cup Ultimax Pro football features official FA Cup branding and Mitre’s iconic chevron graphics in bold red and Pitch Green.
In terms of tech, the new Mitre FA Cup 22-23 football is based on the brand-new Ultimax Pro. The Mitre Ultimax Pro is Mitre's match ball introduced for the 22-23 season.
Interestingly, the Mitre Ultimax Pro 22-23 ball has similar panels as the Adidas Brazuca 2014 World Cup ball.
Mitre 22-23 Women's FA Cup Ball - White/FA Primary Blue/WFAc Purple
Mitre also launched the official match ball for the Women's FA Cup, known as Vitality Women's FA Cup for sponsorship reasons.
The Mitre 2022-2023 Women's FA Cup soccer ball has the same design as the Men's ball but in the colors of the Vitality FA Cup.
