Kappa Deal to End in January 2023 - Tunisia to Join Adidas?
Update - November 29, 2022: Upon further inspection, nothing about the status between Adidas and the Tunisan national team has changed since last week. No official confirmation has been given from either side, unlike with the recent Saudi Arabia deal.
Reports about Tunisia joining Adidas may have been a false alarm
We think the 'teaser' Tweet may have been specific to Tunisia's player, Hannibal Mejbri, who is sponsored by Adidas. Therefore, reports about Tunisia joining Adidas have so far been a false alarm.

Adidas Tunisia Deal Could Already Start in 2023
Last week, Adidas announced a kit deal with Saudi Arabia, only to do something similar for the Tunisian national team several days later.
Tunisia are currently supplied by Italian kit maker Kappa, a partnership that only began in 2019. Kappa delivered four amazing, although repetitive sets of jerseys, including two third kits.
The contract is set to end in January of 2023, setting the stage for a switch of brands. From 1976 to 1992, Adidas were previously already supplying Tunisia with matchwear.
We would expect the Three Stripes to provide unique kit designs, similar to what they do for their other mid-sized national teams (Algeria, Wales, Scotland, etc.).
What do you think of this potential kit deal? We are still not sure if this deal is happening or not. Comment below.
Valenciennes FC 26-27 Away Kit Released
French club Valenciennes FC and kit supplier Hummel have officially unveiled the new Valenciennes 26-27 away kit. Drawing inspiration from the club's 2012-13 centenary away shirt, the new design revives a classic look for the team.
The Hummel Valenciennes FC 26-27 away jersey features an off-white cream base complemented by dark burgundy accents. Burgundy trim adorns the V-neck collar, sleeve cuffs, side panels, and iconic Hummel chevrons on the shoulders.
All details, including the club crest, Hummel logo, and front Toyota sponsor, are rendered in monochrome burgundy. A subtle tonal pattern printed across the body completes the stylish design.
Mohamed Salah Wears Symbolic Number 61 Shirt Upon Trabzonspor Transfer
Former Liverpool superstar Mohamed Salah has completed a high-profile transfer to Turkish Süper Lig club Trabzonspor, making waves with his arrival attire ahead of the 26-27 season. Boarding his flight to Turkey, the Egyptian winger was pictured sporting Trabzonspor's claret and blue home kit customized with the name M. SALAH and the number 61 on the back in gold lettering.
The choice of number 61 raised immediate curiosity among fans accustomed to seeing Salah wear number 11 at Liverpool and 10 for Egypt. However, the number holds immense cultural significance in Trabzon, as 61 is the province's official vehicle registration plate code. Trabzonspor supporters also famously celebrate during the 61st minute of every home match with loud chants and celebrations, making the number a fitting tribute to his new club's identity.
While Salah wore the number 61 shirt for his arrival journey and announcement video, reports indicate that the gesture is purely symbolic for his unveiling. He is expected to select a traditional squad number for official matches, but his respectful nod to Trabzon's heritage has already resonated strongly with local supporters.
Recreativo de Huelva 26-27 Third Kit Released
Spanish club RC Recreativo de Huelva has officially unveiled its new third kit for the 26-27 season, crafted by Adidas. The shirt carries deep emotional significance for Spain's oldest football club, paying tribute to the supporters who tragically lost their lives in a bus accident on December 20, 2006, while traveling to Madrid for a match against Real Madrid.
The Recreativo de Huelva 26-27 third shirt is predominantly black, highlighted by striking orange and red accents. It features a bright orange monochromatic club crest sitting above the club's founding year, 1889, on the left chest, paired with a red Adidas logo on the right. Bright red Adidas three-stripes run along the shoulders, completing the bold contrast against the dark base.
Special memorial details set this kit apart. Printed below the back collar is the inscription "In Memoriam 20·12·2006" alongside star graphics. Additionally, a line-art graphic on the front lower hem illustrates supporters pointing to the sky, honoring the memory of the fans lost nearly two decades ago.
Mohamed Salah Wears Joma Kits for the First Time in Over 10 Years
Following Mohamed Salah's move to Trabzonspor, Egyptian forward is set to play for a club sponsored by Joma for only the second time in his career. The last time he wore the Spanish sportswear brand was in 2015, during his loan spell at Fiorentina.
While at Fiorentina, Salah famously chose the number 74 shirt to honor the 74 victims of the Port Said Stadium riot in Egypt. At Trabzonspor, he may wear number 61 - representing the city plate/license code of Trabzon,
