Kappa Deal to End in January 2023 - Tunisia to Join Adidas?

Update - November 29, 2022: Upon further inspection, nothing about the status between Adidas and the Tunisan national team has changed since last week. No official confirmation has been given from either side, unlike with the recent Saudi Arabia deal.

Reports about Tunisia joining Adidas may have been a false alarm

We think the 'teaser' Tweet may have been specific to Tunisia's player, Hannibal Mejbri, who is sponsored by Adidas. Therefore, reports about Tunisia joining Adidas have so far been a false alarm.

Original - November 26, 2022: We have international kit news as Adidas may have teased a further upcoming partnership with a national team currently competing at the World Cup.

Adidas Tunisia Deal Could Already Start in 2023

Last week, Adidas announced a kit deal with Saudi Arabia, only to do something similar for the Tunisian national team several days later.

Tunisia are currently supplied by Italian kit maker Kappa, a partnership that only began in 2019. Kappa delivered four amazing, although repetitive sets of jerseys, including two third kits.

The contract is set to end in January of 2023, setting the stage for a switch of brands. From 1976 to 1992, Adidas were previously already supplying Tunisia with matchwear.

We would expect the Three Stripes to provide unique kit designs, similar to what they do for their other mid-sized national teams (Algeria, Wales, Scotland, etc.).

What do you think of this potential kit deal? We are still not sure if this deal is happening or not. Comment below.
