Exclusive: Adidas Ajax 2023 Icon Remake Kit Leaked
Adidas are set to release a retro kit for Dutch powerhouse Ajax Amsterdam.
The new Adidas Ajax 2022-2023 "Retro" jersey is part of a large Adidas Icon collection. It includes "remake" jerseys, t-shirts, and tracksuits for all Adidas Elite Teams - Arsenal, Bayern, Juventus, Manchester United, and Real Madrid.
Ajax 2023 Icon Kit
This is the AFC Ajax 2023 icon jersey, made by Adidas.
The Adidas Ajax 2023 remake shirt combines a navy blue base with white logos and red/white applications.
Altered history: Adidas did not sponsor Ajax in the 1990s
Even though the kit and template look very fitting for Ajax, it is actually not based on an old Adidas Ajax kit. Adidas just became Ajax's kit maker in 2000.
Indeed, the template is not based on an old Ajax jersey but on a 1990s-inspired Adidas template (used for Liverpool's 1993-95 away kit, for example). It comes with big Three Stripes on both sides and a classic EQT collar.
The Adidas Ajax 2023 icon football shirt is set for release in December 2022 for 85 Euro.
