Thanks to Italian journalist Filippo Biafora, we know that Adidas have used their 92-94 Roma home shirt (above) as the inspiration for the first shirt of their second spell with the club. Therefore, we can reasonably expect the polo collar as well as the accent colouring and placement to mirror that classic 90s number. Ninnismo_kitcreator has had a go at predicting how these throwback elements might be combined with current Adidas templates. Check out his design below.
The weave pattern used on Adidas' 2022 World Cup kits is present, while the colours match up perfectly to the 92-94 kit. Yellow is less prominent around the collar compared to the original, while the much loved Lupetto badge is placed on the left of the chest. Several Lupetto watermarks are also overlaid on top of each other down the right hand side of the torso.
