Melbourne Victory and Adelaide United 2023 Special Kits Released

Kit news from Australia as two A-League teams Melbourne Victory and Adelaide United unveiled their new 2023 special shirts yesterday.

The one-off kits will be used by both teams in their upcoming battle in the Pride Cup next month.

Melbourne Victory 2023 Special Kit

This is the Melbourne Victory and Adelaide United 2023 special jersey.

The Melbourne Victory 2023 special football shirt is being made special for the club's Pride game double header against Adelaide United on February 26. The new shirt is both for the men and women teams as all two will be playing on the cup.

The new special kit is designed quite different than Victory's regular home kit as it's being set in all black instead of navy blue and it also ditches the 'V' sign up front. There also the addition of rainbow color at the bottom and sleeve cuffs. Since it will be a one-off shirt, there's no confirmation on whether the club will make it available for purchase.

The shorts and socks of the Melbourne Victory and Adelaide United 2023 special uniform are black.

Adelaide United 2023 Special Kit

The Melbourne Victory and Adelaide United 2023 special shirt has a very similar setup as their home one, with only some difference in additional details. The Pride Cup kit has a rainbow colored love sign on the right sleeve. The one-off shirt also has a colorful rainbow design for its jersey number and players' name while the regular home one is just in a normal white color.

Just like their rival, Adelaide United's 2023 special shirt

is also made for the club's men and women teams. However, during the kit reveal event yesterday, The Reds didn't have any men representative but the kit is pretty much the same as the Women aside from the front shirt sponsor.

The shorts and socks of the Melbourne Victory and Adelaide United 2023 special kit are red.

A-League Pride Cup game is an event held to celebrate the LGBTI+ inclusion in Australia. The Cup game will see Melbourned Victory and Adelaide United Men and Women teams participating on the same day.
