Two weeks ago, just before Christmas, German third division side RW Essen revealed that their shirt sponsor, HARFID, will no longer be appearing on their shirts this season.

HARFID have gone bankrupt, meaning they will not be able to honor their main and shirt sponsor agreements with RW Essen. Therefore, the club have already found a suitable replacement in Deutsche Saatgut, who will serve as the main sponsor until the end of the 2022-23 season.
