One Week After Dortmund: Hannover 96 Release All-Black 22-23 Special Kit

- Special Kit Release: Hannover 96 has released a special all-black kit made by Macron for the 2022-23 season, fulfilling a fan request and celebrating a historic club color.
- Limited Edition: Only 1,896 of the special kits will be produced, each with a unique number, and will be worn in a single match against FC Hansa Rostock on March 12, 2023.
- High Demand: The all-black kit has already seen high demand, with 1,000 shirts pre-ordered within 2.5 hours, and the club has stated no further reorders will be made.
Hannover 96's new 2022-23 special kit was released today. It is made by Macron and will be worn only in one match in the current 2. Bundesliga season. The new kit is being made to fulfill the fans' wish while showcasing love for one of the club's historic colors.

Hannover are not the only German team that released an all-black kit this month as earlier, Borussia Dortmund also did the same. Hannover will wear the kit when FC Hansa Rostock plays at the Heinz von Heiden Arena on the 12th of March, 2023.

The Macron Hannover 96 2022-23 special shirt is almost all in black aside from the crest and logos which are just a shade lighter. Black has always been one of Hannover's main color aside from green and white, so they are keen on releasing a special all-black kit this season, especially with the high demands from fans.

The Macron Hannover 96 2022-23 special football shirt is being made in a limited edition as only 1’896 will be released on the market, marking the year the club were founded. There will be special numbering from 1 to 1’896 on the neck label of each jersey, making it more special and unique.
Being a special edition, the demand for the all-black jersey is very high as Hannover claim that they already had 1000 shirts being ordered after just two hours after the announcement. The club and Macron also warned that they are not planning to do any reordering for the special kit.

The Macron Hannover 96 22-23 special football shirt actually has slight similarities with Hannover's away kit for the 2021/22 season which was also made mainly black. However, there's a clear difference in the design and additional colors as last season's away jersey also uses green and white for the detailing in logos and collar.

Aside from Macron, Brain House 247 logos, and the club's crest, the special jersey will also have the Travnik as the sleeve sponsor along with the Bundesliga patch. Completing the all-black look for the jersey, the shorts of the Hannover 96 2022-2023 special kit are also black.
Hannover are only planning to wear the all-black kit in one game for this season, against Hansa Rostock at the Heinz von Heiden Arena on March 12, 2023. The special jersey is already available for order at Macron's online shop and retails at £67.99.

Wellington Phoenix 26-27 Home Kit Released
A-League club Wellington Phoenix and apparel partner Dynasty Sport have officially unveiled the club's new home kit for the 26-27 season. Celebrating the club's 20th anniversary campaign, the design delivers a direct throwback homage to the inaugural strip worn during the 2007-08 season.
The Dynasty Wellington Phoenix 26-27 home jersey features a predominantly black body accented by distinctive curved yellow and white panels sweeping across the shoulders and flanks, echoing the aesthetics of the club's debut kit. Significant cultural elements are embedded throughout, with the central Te Raukura white feather plume positioned on the chest alongside the club crest, and a tohu pattern incorporated into the side paneling. The inside collar features custom anniversary lettering reading 'Wellington Phoenix 20th Season Anniversary 2007-2027'.
Completed with matching black shorts and black socks, the kit is available immediately via the Phoenix online store and select regional retailers. The men's team features Entelar Group as main sponsor, while the women's edition showcases OPPO on the front.
Adidas National University Philippines 26-27 Kits Released
Adidas has officially unveiled the new football kits for National University (NU) in the Philippines, continuing the brand's ongoing partnership with the NU Bulldogs collegiate teams in the UAAP. As the country's first private, non-sectarian university, NU receives a sharp, bespoke set of uniforms tailored to its athletic heritage.
The new home jersey arrives in the university's classic deep navy blue, highlighted by rich gold accents on the collar, sleeve trim, and signature Three Stripes. A prominent retro-inspired 'National U' wordmark graphic stretches across the chest, complemented by a centered Adidas Performance logo and matching gold squad numbers. Completing the look are navy shorts and socks detailed with gold branding.
The away uniform reverses the aesthetic onto a crisp white base, finished with the same navy and gold chest branding and sleeve detailing. Special Farnham Town 26-27 Oktoberfest Shirt Released
English club Farnham Town has officially released a special limited-edition shirt to celebrate Oktoberfest for the 26-27 season. The one-off design arrives ahead of the club's dedicated matchday event scheduled for their home fixture against Salisbury on Saturday, October 10.
The shirt is heavily inspired by traditional Bavarian themes, featuring Bavaria's iconic blue and white diamond pattern across the entire body and sleeves. It is finished with a classic white spread polo collar paired with a V-neck cut, while a golden beer barrel graphic sits on the right chest opposite the Farnham Town FC club crest. Spanning across the midriff is an ornate gold "Oktoberfest" script complete with integrated barrel details.
Produced by LS4 Sport, who partners with the club alongside their primary kit supplier, the special release is completely separate from their standard 26-27 league kits. The shirt is available for pre-order through the club's online shop for £40 in strictly limited quantities.
