Leaked Liverpool 22-23 Home Kit Sample Shows How Little Nike Changed
We recently covered a leaked sample of the Barcelona 19-20 home kit, which featured a totally different design.

Pictures of a sample of the Liverpool FC 2022-23 home shirt (Dri-Fit ADV version) were shared by @semihkececioglu on Twitter, revealing a design that's almost unchanged from what was released last summer.
In fact, there are only two notable differences between the sample and the final Liverpool 22-23 home jersey.
Sleeve cuffs
The colors on the sleeve cuffs are reversed. While they have the same base color as the shirt on this sample, only the "YNWA" pattern is colored in a darker shade of red. This is the other way around on the actual jersey, with the sleeve cuffs having a darker color and the pattern being brighter.
Hillsborough Flames
Additionally, the sample comes with the old '96' Hillsborough Flames on the back collar, whereas the final design has the '97', honoring the recently deceased Andrew Devine. Devine suffered life-changing injuries at the 1989 FA Cup semi-final in Sheffield, but survived until his death in July 2021.
This indicates that the sample was produced before July 2021.
