Adidas Manchester United 1988-1990 Third Kit Remake + Full Collection Released
Confirming Footy Headlines' leak, the entire Adidas Manchester 2023 remake pack, including the remake jersey, was launched today.
Adidas have not been shy about delving into their archives over the last few years to bring back some much-loved shirts from the past. Last year they relaunched Man Utd's 1990 home and goalkeeper kits as well as a host of lifestyle items and now they've done it again.
This time they've reproduced United's blue third kit that they wore from 1998 to 1990.
Manchester United 1988-1990 Third Kit Remake
This is the Manchester United Football Club 88-90 third jersey remake, made by Adidas.
The Adidas Manchester United 1988-89 third shirt remake is faithful to the original design. Blue with a shiny jacquard stripe pattern, the initials MUFC a repeated run down every second stripe. White piping accentuates the raglan cut and matches the Adidas branding on the sleeves.
The overlapping v-neck collar has red and black detailing on the edges, and the Adidas and Sharp logos, as well as the club badge, are era-appropriate.
