Hummel in Pole Position to Take Over From Mizuno
The five-year agreement signed between Lazio and Mizuno in 2022—valued at around €5 million per season—will reach its natural conclusion in June 2027 without an extension. The Rome-based side has already initiated discussions with potential replacements, and Hummel is currently leading the race.
Hummel has reportedly tabled an offer worth approximately €5 million annually for five seasons (structured as a four-year contract with an option for a fifth), which could generate up to €25 million for the Biancocelesti.
British brands Umbro and Castore have also been linked with the vacancy. An Umbro reunion carried strong nostalgic appeal among supporters, as the brand outfitted Lazio during a memorable era between 1989 and 1998, but their candidacy has lost momentum in recent weeks.
Castore remains in contention, though ongoing questions from supporters regarding garment durability have kept sentiment cautious.
