Confirmed: Manchester City and Inter to Wear Home Kits in Champions League Final
UEFA have confirmed that both Manchester City and Inter will wear their respective home kits in the Champions league Final on June 10th.
City and Inter to wear home kits in final
La Gazzetta dello Sport report that Inter - the designated "away" team - have received the ok from UEFA to wear their home kit in the Champions League Final. Manchester City, as the "home" team, will of course be wearing their sky blue shirt, the recently launched 23-24 edition to be precise. The announcement should please both clubs, both sets of fans and neutrals alike.
Inter wore their famous Nerazzuri shirt the last time they reached the final back in 2010, and that went quite well for them, so they'll be happy to interpret it as a good omen. After a slow season, Romelu Lukaku is also hitting form at just the right time, rekindling the explosive partnership he had formed with Lautaro Martinez in their first spell together at the club.
City, on the other hand, lost their last game of the season, even if it was a dead rubber. They face Manchester United in the FA Cup final this Saturday in a game they'll be expecting to win. Should they lose, it will be interesting to see how that could affect them ahead of the Champions League Final the following weekend.
Are you glad that both clubs will wear their home shirts? Who do you think will win the final? Comment below.

The Castore Hertha Berlin 26-27 away jersey introduces a fresh look for the club. It is navy with a blue and white design that, in our opinion, looks like a screensaver.
