Dortmund 23-24 Home Kit Evokes Memories Of Sinking Titanic
Borussia Dortmund have unveiled their new home kit for the 2023-2024 season, but it hasn't been received well by many fans, despite it being chosen by fans.
BVB 2023-2024 Home Kit Was Meant to Represent Club's Stadium
The Dortmund 2023-2024 home kit was designed to represent the club's stadium, but fans have pointed out the unfortunate similarity to the ill-fated ocean liner that sank in 1912. Social media was awash with comments from fans expressing their disappointment and anger at the kit.
The designer of the kit, Timo R., intended the design to showcase the iconic view of Dortmund's Signal Iduna Park from the club's old Rote Erde stadium.

The designer opted for a diagonal design to mirror the team's website visual identity, which heavily incorporates diagonal design elements.
The main reason for the large black part of the kit is that it should better combine with the black shorts, making it less stand out.
The kit is set to be worn by Dortmund's players during the 2023-2024 season, but it remains to be seen whether the controversy will die down or continue to simmer throughout the season.
