No More Nike - Kaizer Chiefs Back In Training in New Kappa Gear
- End of Nike Partnership: Kaizer Chiefs have ended their 23-year partnership with Nike.
- New Kappa Partnership: Kaizer Chiefs have begun training in new gear from their new technical sponsor, Kappa.
- Positive Initial Reaction: The new Kappa training gear, featuring yellow, black, and navy, has been well-received.
Kaizer Chiefs have started their pre-season training in something other than Nike gear for the first time in 23 years, as they prepare for their first season back with Kappa as technical sponsor.
Kaizer Chiefs Kappa Training Gear
The news of Kappa's return as kit maker was greeted with enthusiasm when it was announced a few months ago, and the first pieces of training gear they've provided for the South African club have gotten the partnership off to a good start. Yellow and black are distributed and proportioned well across the long and short sleeved training tops pictured here.
The players also showed off their brand new navy tracksuits, with subtle detailing on the sleeves. The early signs are good here, let's hope Kappa will have something special for them in the match kit department.
