Best Football Kit of September 2023 - New Profile Pic
Footy Headlines are back with their search for the best football kits of the year, this time looking for the best jersey of September 2023.
Best Football Kit of September 2023
September 2023 mainly saw the release of third kits, which traditionally allow for more creative freedom. This usually produces some stunning results, and September 2023 was no exception.
Vasco, Midtjylland, and Hackney went under the radar, but all would be worthy winners
There is a good mix of kits from different brands, including Adidas, Nike, Puma, Kappa, EA7, Le Coq Sportif, and PlayerLayer.
The kit that people talked most about is Adidas' AS Roma 2023-2024 third kit, but seeing the other kits here, it seems unfair that Adidas' job did get most of the attention.
For example, Brazilian club Vasco and their kit supplier Kappa released a stylish black, white, and golf third kit, and Danish club FC Midtjylland brought put a fantastic-looking maroon/black kit.
In total, we have pre-selected 16 kits for you to vote on.
Which was the best football kit of September 2023? Who will be crowned the best football kit of September 2023? Let us know your prediction in the comments, and be sure to vote above to make your voice count.

Arsenal Retain Kit Font for 26-27 Season with Updated Colors
Arsenal will continue to use their bespoke cup kit font for the upcoming 2026-2027 season, making only a minor visual update to its color scheme.
This custom typography, which is typically worn during non-league competitions such as the Champions League and domestic cups, retains its sharp, modern aesthetic and the signature cannon detailing located at the base of each numeral.
The only difference for the new campaign lies in the application of colors to the names and numbers. During the 2025-2026 season, the font was rendered in solid white with grey detailing. For the 2026-2027 kit, Adidas has updated the application by adding a thick, red & dark red outline around both the lettering and the numbering.
Indeed, the colorway matches the duo-color 3 stripes of the kit, which also has two shades of red.
Do you prefer the plain white font application from the 25-26 season or the updated bordered look for the 26-27 campaign? Let us know in the comments.

The new Decathlon Kipsta Ligue 1 26-27 ball introduces a bold and modern aesthetic. It features a clean white base, which is sharply contrasted by aggressive, angular graphic panels.
These striking geometric shapes are rendered in deep purple and black, highlighted by vibrant fiery orange and red gradient details.
Derby County Announce Loaded as 26-27 Front-of-Shirt Sponsor
Derby County has officially announced that digital game store Loaded will become the club’s new principal front-of-shirt partner for the upcoming 2026-2027 season. The agreement will see the gaming brand's distinctive logo prominently featured on the front of all playing and replica kits across all teams. The upcoming Derby County kits will once again be manufactured by the club's technical partner, Puma.
This new sponsorship agreement marks the latest chapter in Derby County's recent front-of-shirt sponsor history. Loaded will be replacing FanHub, who had featured on the front of the Rams' kits since 2024. Prior to FanHub, the club's primary sponsors included Host & Stay for the 2023-2024 campaign, a charity partnership with the NSPCC during the 2022-2023 season, and a long-standing stint with betting firm 32Red from 2018 to 2022.

GKS Katowice 26-27 Home Kit Released - 1986 Polish Cup Tribute
Polish Ekstraklasa side GKS Katowice has officially unveiled their new 2026-2027 home kit, produced by technical partner Macron. The new strip is set to make its on-pitch debut this Sunday, May 17, during the club's crucial final home match of the current season against Jagiellonia Białystok, a highly anticipated clash where the top spot in the league table will be on the line.
The design of the new Macron GKS Katowice 26-27 home jersey serves as a direct tribute to a major milestone in the club's history. Celebrating exactly 40 years since the historic achievement, the kit is deeply inspired by the uniform worn during the 1986 Polish Cup final. On May 1, 1986, Katowice famously defeated Górnik Zabrze 4-1 to claim the club's very first major football trophy, an iconic victory that sparked a golden decade for the Polish side and inspired generations of supporters.
Fans looking to get their hands on the new 2026-27 home kit can purchase it at the Arena Katowice fan store starting this Sunday, with online sales and wider retail availability rolling out on Monday.

Crewe Alexandra 26-27 Home Kit Released
English fourth division side Crewe Alexandra have officially released their new home kit for the upcoming 2026-2027 season.
The Crewe Alexandra 26-27 2026-2027 jersey is anchored by the club's traditional red base, which is elevated this year by a subtle, tonal geometric pattern consisting of interlocking diamond shapes woven directly into the front fabric.
Adding contrast to the red foundation, the Puma design incorporates distinct white panels under the arms and down the sides of the shirt. Further detailing is provided by dark navy blue accents, which are utilized on the sleeve cuffs and the modern collar insert. To maintain a cohesive look across the chest, the Puma cat logo, the Crewe Alexandra club crest, and the central Whitby Morrison Ice Cream Vans sponsor graphic are all applied in a crisp, monochrome white.
Template-wise, the Crewe Alexandra 2026-2027 home shirt is based on a stripped down version of the Portugal 2026 shirt, called Puma Teamfinal 26.
The Crewe Alexandra 26-27 home kit is available from Saturday.
