Aston Villa’s current kit supplier, Castore, are set to provide the club with two options to rectify the ‘wet-look’ shirt issue. This is reported by The Telegraph.

Aston Villa players have complained that their shirts become heavy and uncomfortable when they sweat, which is greatly visible in every match.

Castore have identified the cause of the problem and are working on providing Villa with either an entirely new batch of playing shirts or making small adjustments to the current kit.

With cooler temperatures and Villa's strong performance, the club may avoid giving players entirely new shirts, as they can be superstitious.

Sources claim that the issue is also due to an imbalance relating to the logo of the club’s principal sponsor. However, Footy Headlines believe it is the material of the body that is defective, and that small adjustments won't fix it.

Earlier this week, Castore again got something wrong. A printing error caused a mistake on England's Castore Cricket World Cup kit. The sizing of the "England" lettering was different on the kits.
