Revolutionary? First-Ever Nike Dynamic Fit Goalkeeper Gloves Released
The first-ever goalkeeper gloves with Nike's "Dynamic Fit" technology have been released. Will it change goalkeeper gloves forever, similar as the first-ever Dynamic Fit football boots released in 2014, the Nike Magista?
The Nike Dynamic Fot goalkeeper gloves feature an engineered knit backhand and entry. In our opinion, they are not as game-changing as the first high-cut, Dynamic Fit knit football boot (Nike Magista), but certainly interesting - it remains to be seen if Nike's best players will adopt the technology or if they will stick with the traditional closure.
Prototypes featured the Flyknit logo, the final version has an "Engineered Knit"
The final version of the Nike Vapor Grip3 Dynamic Fit has "engineered knit", while prototypes seen by Footy Headlines featured a Flyknit logo on them. Flyknit is, of course, also engineered knit, but Nike have used another knit technique.
It is unknown if and which Nike goalkeepers will wear the Nike Vapor Grip3 Dynamic Fit goalkeeper gloves.
Nike Vapor Grip3 Dynamic Fit Goalkeeper Gloves
The launch colorway of the all-new Nike Dynamic Fit goalkeeper gloves is understated. Black is combined with Hyper Turquoise. This is inspired by the new Nike Peak Ready pack.
Classic Nike Goalkeeper Vapor Knit 3
Tech-wise, the Nike Vapor Grip3 Dynamic Fit goalkeeper gloves are a hybrid of Phantom Elite and Mercurial Touch Elite gloves. What makes them innovative is the use of engineered knit for the full backhand and closure.
The Nike Vapor 3 Dynamic Fit goalkeeper gloves have an "Engineered Knit" construction for punching and the Swoosh. In case you wondered - the Engineered Knit Swoosh is mainly there to create an impressive visual.
Other elements for catching balls are traditional. The Nike Vapor Grip3 Dynamic Fit goalkeeper gloves feature a 4mm Contact Plus foam with a 3mm sandwich cushion for enhanced grip and cushioning. These gloves also come with a reverse stitch cut for added flexibility and All Conditions Control (ACC) technology.

Germany to Wear 1990 Away Remake Kit Against Netherlands
Germany will take the pitch in a special throwback look for their 26-27 UEFA Nations League showdown against the Netherlands on September 24, 2026, at the Johan Cruijff ArenA in Amsterdam. The DFB has confirmed that the national team will wear an official remake of their iconic 1990 away kit for the encounter, which will also mark the official debut of new head coach Jürgen Klopp.
The shirt is an authentic reproduction released under Adidas' Bringback collection. It recreates the famous geometric zigzag chevron graphic in alternating shades of green that create a dynamic 3D effect across the torso. Completing the retro aesthetic are a contrasting white overlapping V-neck collar, the classic Trefoil logo, and the vintage Deutscher Fussball-Bund crest. The original design remains etched in football folklore, famously worn during West Germany's 1990 World Cup campaign, including their memorable semi-final penalty shootout triumph against England.
With Nike preparing to take over as Germany's technical supplier starting in 2027, the match serves as a high-profile send-off for Adidas as the brand celebrates the final months of its historic, multi-decade partnership with the German federation. The team will pair the green jersey with classic white shorts and green socks, and replica editions have been made available for supporters.
