In late summer 2024/early fall 2024, Adidas will release a special collection honoring Manchester United and its legend George Best. Now we can leak that the collection will also bring us special Gazelle shoes.
George Best, the legendary footballer, left an indelible mark on the history of Manchester United during his tenure with the club from 1963 to 1974. Over the course of his illustrious career, Best made 361 appearances for Manchester United and showcased his extraordinary talent by scoring 137 goals. However, it was in 1968 that Best reached the pinnacle of success, etching his name in football folklore.
The crowning achievement of Best's career came in 1968 when Manchester United secured their first-ever European Cup title, now known as the Champions League. Best's exceptional performance throughout the tournament played a pivotal role in guiding the team to victory in the final against Benfica.
