Sad: Nike & EA Sports Recycle Premier League Anti-Racism Kit
- Recycled Design: Nike and EA Sports FC reused a previous Premier League anti-racism kit design for 2024, making only minor alterations.
- Minimal Changes: The updated kit has very slight differences from the 2022 version, including spacing changes and sleeve badge updates.
- Digital Product: The kit is a digital-only product, disappointing fans who expected a new, creative approach to the anti-racism campaign.
In a move that has left us disappointed, Nike and EA Sports FC have launched the Premier League 2024 No Room For Racism kit. However, rather than introducing a fresh design, the kit appears to be a recycled version from previous campaigns.
Only minor elements were changed since 2022
EA Sports FC Does not Design a New Premier League Anti-Racism Kit, Simply Uses an Old Design
Pictured os the old 2022 design
The Nike EA Sports FC Anti-Racism kit has a black & white design with the familiar EPL slogan "No room for racism" emblazoned across the front. While the message is undoubtedly powerful, the lack of any new element is surely a missed chance.
When comparing both kits in detail, slight changes become visible. There is now a space between the "No room for racism" text and the graphic, and the sleeve badges have been also changed.
Two years, and just the socks get changed
Fans had hoped for a new, creative approach to tackling racism within the sport, yet the rehashed design fails to deliver the excitement and impact they were anticipating.
The Nike EA Sports FC Anti-Racism kit is not physically available to buy. In previous years, select gamers were gifted shirts.
As a digital-only product, creating an all-new design would have been easily possible. It is sad that EA Sports has not put effort into it.
