EA Sports Lacks Licenses for Classic Kits in EA Sports FC 25
- EA Sports FC 25 Hero Cards: The game introduces new Hero Cards featuring legendary players but with simplified, unauthentic looks.
- Licensing Issues: EA Sports lacks licenses for classic team kits, resulting in stripped-down versions missing logos, designs, and team crests.
- Kit Identification Challenge: Some simplified kits are easily recognizable, while others are difficult or impossible to identify, creating a unique challenge for fans.
EA Sports has introduced new Hero Cards for EA Sports FC 25, adding legendary players from the past to the game. However, while EA has acquired the rights to include these iconic players, they do not exactly look how we remember them.
Classic Kits for Hero Players Lack Logos & Details in EA Sports FC 25 Due to Missing Licenses
EA could not secure the licenses for many of the original teams and all of their classic kits. As a result, the kits featured in the game are simplified versions of the originals, missing key details such as brand logos, intricate designs, and, in many cases, even the team crests.
Some simplified kits are easy to identify; others couldn't be exactly identified by us at all
These stripped-down jerseys lack the authenticity that fans might expect from a tribute to football legends. Still, it is an interesting game for kit connoisseurs to know the kit and the season just by its simplified version.
We have put some of the original and stripped-down kits next together. Some are easy to recognize at first glance, e.g., Leverkusen and Chelsea), while others seem not to be based on an exact classic kit (e.g., Yaya Toure and Man City).
