All-New Adidas Authentic 2026 Kit "Climacool/Climacool+" Technology Leaked

  • Climacool+ Technology: Adidas is reintroducing Climacool+ technology for their authentic 2026 World Cup jerseys, replacing the Heat.Dry tech and improving moisture management and breathability.
  • Design Updates: The iconic three shoulder stripes are now seamlessly integrated directly into the fabric, enhancing breathability and comfort.
  • Technology Timeline: Climacool was used from the early 2000s until 2016, when it was replaced by Climachill, and the new Adidas 'Climacool' kit technology will launch in November 2025.

Update: In December 2024, Footy Headlines first reported that Adidas would bring back the Climacool+ name for the authentic 2026 World Cup jerseys. Now, we can give you a close-up look at the fabric and the new technologies of the completely Climacool+ system, which will be used starting from the 2026 World Cup, the 2026–27 season, and beyond.

All-New Adidas 2026 'Climacool' Kit Technology

At the core of Adidas' 2026 World Cup kits is the Climacool+ material, designed to improve moisture management and breathability. Through intricate weaving patterns and strategic ventilation zones, Climacool+ is engineered to actively wick sweat away from the body, promoting rapid evaporation and maintaining an optimal body temperature.

he collar and sleeve cuffs also come with a ventilation-optimized material.

In addition, the design of the three shoulder stripes has been completely revamped. The iconic three stripes are now seamlessly integrated directly into the fabric. This enhances breathability around the shoulders while increasing comfort by eliminating potential friction points.

The name of Climacool+ is not new, but taken from the past. Climacool+ replaces Adidas' Heat.Dry tech, which did not do well in ... heat.

  • Authentic Kit: Climacool +
  • Replica Kit: Climacool

In 2026, after 6 consecutive years (from 2020), the 'Heat.Rdy' and 'Aeroready' names will be discontinued.

'Climacool' was the name of the Adidas shirt technology used from the early 2000s until 2016, when it was replaced by 'Climachill'.

The History of Adidas' Kit Technology

Let's take a look back at football jersey technology from the year 2000 to the present. Over the past two decades, we've witnessed significant changes from Adidas in football jersey technology.

The Evolution of Adidas Kit Technology: From Climalite to the Return of Climacool

No More Nike: Adidas Croatia 2026 Training Kits Revealed

Following their switch from Nike to Adidas, Croatia's new training kit set for 2026 have been unveiled in the latest training camp for youth teams' goalkeepers.

However from what we've seen, both of the new jerseys are simply from Adidas Tiro 26 League template range, using default black and grey color choices. These are very likely just temporary options for the mean time, until the actual designs with probably bespoke colorways are officially released.

FC Barcelona 26-27 Third Kit Font Leaked

Following the leak of FC Barcelona's 26-27 third kit, kit expert @memorabilia1899 has provided a first look at the custom typeface that will feature on the back of the jersey. The bespoke font design continues Nike's trend of pairing unique typography with its high-profile club kit releases for the season.

The typography features a sharp, geometric design with clean blocky angles for the player numbers, rendered in dark navy blue and bordered by a bright red outline. The player name is printed in arched, bold sans-serif lettering using the same color scheme, perfectly matching the teal body and red trim of the shirt.

This custom typeface will be worn on Barcelona's 26-27 third kit during cup fixtures and selected league games where customized fonts are permitted. The contrasting red outline gives the player names and numbers clear visibility against the light teal graphic backdrop.
