Rejected Nike Liverpool 23-24 Prototype Home Kit Leaked
- Prototype Kit Reveal: A never-before-seen Nike prototype for Liverpool's 2023-24 home kit was leaked by a kit collector.
- Design Differences: The prototype featured yellow logos and an all-over Liverbird graphic, differing from the final kit's plain red design with white details.
- Early Draft: The prototype was likely an early design draft, using the 22-23 template, not a last-minute rejection.
A rare glimpse of Liverpool's kit history has been revealed, thanks to kit collector Semih Keçecioğlu (@semihkececioglu). He showcased a never-seen-before Nike Liverpool prototype kit, intended for the 2023-2024 season.
Liverpool 23-24 "Rejected" Home Kit Design
This is a Liverpool 23-24 prototype home football shirt, made by Nike.
The Nike Liverpool 23-24 rejected home shirt is totally different from the final design. While the official release featured a classic plain red look with white details, this prototype, created by Nike, was bolder and more experimental.
Liverpool 23-24 Final vs Prototype Kits
The prototype stands out with yellow logos and a modern, all-over graphic inspired by the Liverbird crest. The design adds a contemporary edge while nodding to the club’s heritage, making it a sharp contrast to the traditional simplicity of the final kit.
Though the final kit went with a safer, minimalist approach, this prototype highlights Nike’s willingness to take risks.
Template-wise, the Nike Liverpool 23-24 prototype is based on the 22-23 kit model. It therefore seems very likely that this is an early design draft by Nike, and was not rejected at the last minute.
