- Reebok's Football Return: This deal marks Reebok's return to supplying football kits, having previously equipped major teams like Liverpool and currently outfitting Botafogo and the Panama national team.
The Israel Football Association has apparently finalized a deal with Reebok to become their new official kit supplier, as first reported by Israeli sports outlet ONE. The agreement is reportedly structured as a 2+2 year deal (two years with an option for two additional years).
Reebok Signs Israel National Team Partnership
Reebok has been under American ownership since 2021. Israel has previously partnered with several major sportswear brands. Most recently, the national teams wore Puma kits, following a period with adidas as their technical sponsor. The switch to Reebok represents a fresh direction for Israeli football.
Errea Controversy
This new partnership comes after Italian sportswear company Errea reportedly breached its contract with the IFA. The agreement, signed in April 2024, was set to begin in January 2025, but Errea failed to deliver the promised equipment. According to reports, the IFA is now pursuing legal action against Errea, seeking damages of approximately €2 million.
Reebok Football Kits
Reebok has been the kit supplier for famous teams such as Liverpool, Sporting CP, and Atletico. The company recently returned to making football kits, making the kits for Copa Libertadores champions Botafogo and the Panamian national team.
The Reebok deal is expected to be officially announced soon, with the brand's logo already appearing on the Israel Football Association website.
