Sporting CP 120-Year Anniversary Shirt Hit by Crest Peeling Quality Issues
Sporting CP recently celebrated their 120th anniversary with the launch of a special commemorative 26-27 jersey. However, just weeks after its release, several supporters have reported noticeable quality issues regarding the gold heat-applied crest on the shirt. Big thanks to @SuspendamEsta & @AlexRod_27.
Images shared online show the golden lion emblem and shield cracking and peeling away from the fabric after only a month of use, despite fans following strict hand-washing routines. The issue appears to be widespread, with staff at the club's official Loja Verde store reportedly acknowledging multiple complaints and advising customers to avoid machine washing.
Fortunately, Sporting CP's retail staff have been handling the situation proactively by exchanging defective jerseys on the spot and reapplying custom name and number printing at no extra cost. It remains to be seen whether any adjustments will be made to the badge application for remaining or future production runs.
Al-Arabi SC 26-27 Home & Away Kits Released

White monochrome logos, including the Doha Bank sponsor and the club crest, complete the look alongside matching red shorts and socks.
For the away strip, Adidas delivers a refined off-white shirt highlighted by deep maroon raglan sleeves, collar, and side panels. Gold Three Stripes run down the shoulders, while the chest logos and sponsor branding are rendered in clean maroon. The full kit is finished off with white shorts and socks.
Ulsan HD 2026 Third Kit Released
K League 1 club Ulsan HD and Adidas have officially unveiled their new 2026 third kit, titled 'Midnight Wave'. The new strip expands the South Korean club's wardrobe for the 2026 season following the launch of their blue home and white away kits earlier in the year.
The Adidas Ulsan HD 2026 third jersey draws inspiration from the nocturnal seas of Ulsan facing the East Sea. It combines a deep navy base with subtle black gradient elements and striking sand beige accents across the Three Stripes, collar, club crest, and sponsor logos. The look is completed with bespoke sand beige numbering and a special jocktag at the lower hem incorporating the club's tiger emblem alongside wave motifs.
The Ulsan HD 2026 third kit will be available for purchase online via UHD SHOP starting August 21, followed by a release in official physical stores. The team is scheduled to debut the new uniform on the pitch in early September.

The Macron Wadi Degla 26-27 away shirt introduces a clean and understated design, centered around a predominantly white base. The fabric features a subtle tonal geometric pattern composed of modern intersecting lines. Black accents provide sharp contrast on the overlapping V-neck collar and the sleeve cuffs, both of which are finished with fine white pinstripes.
Black Macron logos and a monochrome version of the club crest decorate the chest, alongside sponsor branding from Ollin and CLUBtown. A small red sleeve patch adds an additional pop of color to the overall package.

Mirroring the design of the primary strip, the Joma Sohar SC 2026-27 away jersey reverses the colorway with a crisp white base accented by thin green pinstripes and subtle geometric fabric textures. Green trim finishes the collar and cuffs, tying in with the club crest and Joma chest logo. The away look is completed with matching white shorts and socks.
Premier League Match Ball Spotted in German 9th Tier for Niklas Süle Debut
Former Bayern Munich, Borussia Dortmund, and Germany defender Niklas Süle recently made headlines by stepping onto the pitch for German amateur side SV Tiefenbach in the Kreisliga. Having stepped away from the professional game at the end of the 25-26 season, the 30-year-old made his debut for the local ninth-tier club in Baden-Württemberg alongside close friends. While Süle managed to score a headed goal in a 7-2 defeat against SG Kirchardt, we quickly spotted an unexpected detail: the match was played with the official Nike Premier League 24-25 Third ball.
Seeing a Premier League match ball in the lower divisions of German regional football is an unusual and amusing sight, as amateur clubs across the country usually rely on non-league or, also, Bundesliga balls.
The distinctive Nike Flight Premier League design inspired by the Total 90 design, complete with its signature aerodynamic groove pattern and Premier League graphics, stood out prominently on the district league pitch.
New Hull City Signing Brings Back Memories of Iconic Vennegoor of Hesselink Number 29 Kit Font Arc
Following Hull City's signing of French midfielder Lucas Gourna-Douath, kit enthusiasts and football fans quickly noticed a similarity to one of the most iconic shirt prints in Premier League history. Gourna-Douath was unveiled holding his new black and amber striped 26-27 home kit featuring his hyphenated surname curved in a deep horseshoe arc around the number 29.
The visual immediately drew viral comparisons to Dutch striker Jan Vennegoor of Hesselink, who famously wore the exact same squad number 29 for Hull City during the 2009-10 campaign. Vennegoor of Hesselink's 20-letter surname required an extreme rainbow arch on the back of his kit to fit around the Premier League typeface, creating an enduring aesthetic memory from the classic Barclays era.
The Hull City kit does not require a box at the back, unlike it might have been in the UEFA Champions League.
