Garnacho Leaves Nike - Once Again Wears Skechers Boots

  • Garnacho's Departure from Nike: Garnacho's long-standing partnership with Nike has likely ended, indicated by him wearing competitor's boots in official matches.
  • Experimentation with Different Brands: Since parting ways with Nike, Garnacho has been testing boots from various brands, including Puma, Adidas, and Skechers, to find a new endorsement deal.
  • Potential Move to Skechers: Garnacho is likely to join Skechers and become an ambassador for their Razor line, with recent sightings of him wearing Skechers boots.

Update - Mar 3, 2026: During Chelsea’s recent training session, Garnacho once again did not wear Nike boots, instead opting for the Skechers SKX 2. This suggests that the Argentine winger has yet to secure a new boot deal after parting ways with Nike.

This marks the second time Garnacho has worn Skechers boots, following his first appearance in them in April 2025.

Update - Mar 2, 2026: Garnacho has trained in the new Puma Ultra Dreamrush football boots in training last week. However, for the London Derby, he returned to his whiteout Nike Mercurial Vapor 16 soccer cleats (which look quite dirty, also due to Nike's Flyknit material). He still seems to be not 100% satisfied with his Puma Ultras.

Update - Apr 25, 2025: Nothing is certain yet about Garnacho’s next destination after leaving Nike. Recently, he wore Puma Ultra 5 boots during Manchester United's training session yesterday.

Wearing the Puma Ultra 5 boots suggests that Garnacho has yet to decide on his next destination in his career. After parting ways with Nike, he has worn boots from three different brands: Skechers, Adidas and most recently Puma.

Taking to the pitch at Old Trafford for the Premier League fixture against Wolverhampton Wanderers today, Garnacho was spotted wearing the recently released Adidas F50 boots from the 'Celestial Victory' pack.

This move provides the clearest evidence so far that the Argentinian international's long-standing partnership with Nike has likely come to an end. While testing different brands in training is common during contract negotiations or transitions, wearing a competitor's boots in an official, high-profile match is a much stronger indicator of a definitive switch. The big question now is whether this marks the start of a permanent switch to the Three Stripes.

Update: Garnacho was spotted wearing Adidas F50 boots at Manchester United's recent training session, suggesting that he is still in the process of choosing a new brand as his departure from Nike approaches.

Garnacho was spotted wearing Skechers Razor boots during the warm-up for yesterday's match between Manchester United and Newcastle, suggesting he is likely to leave Nike for the brand.

Garnacho to Leave Nike for Skechers?

Wearing Skechers Razor shoes yesterday, Garnacho is likely to leave Nike for Skechers.

Although Garnacho was once a promising young star for Nike, his recent poor performances suggest that Nike has little interest in renewing his contract.

Garnacho is likely to join Skechers and become an ambassador for their flagship Razor line, following in the footsteps of Isco.

What do you think about Garnacho leaving Nike? Do you think Skechers is the right destination for this young man? Comment below.

Argentina Become First Team to Use Two Different World Cup Champions Badges

Since its introduction in 2007 and first appearance on Italy's 2008 kits, the World Cup Champions Badge has always come in two versions: gold and white. This allows teams to match the badge contrast with their kit colors.

However, until now, every defending champion had only used one version of the badge at a World Cup. Italy used only the white badge in 2010, despite they have the gold version on away kit. While Spain (2014), Germany (2018), and France (2022) done the same with gold badge on every kits.

Argentina broke this by using both versions of the badge on their kits at the 2026 World Cup, becoming the first team to do so. Big thanks to @jerseystory_vn for spotting this detail.
