Update: Out of total blue, VfL Wolfsburg has unveiled their new 2025-26 third shirt today, which made its debut in two pre-season friendlies against Brighton & Hove Albion. It is based on standard Nike teamwear and NOT available to buy - the club got an 80th anniversary kit that is internally labelled as a third kit but will only serve as an anniversary special kit. Nike does not give Wolfsburg's four "bespoke" kits in a single season, so the fourth is direclty from the catalogue.

The Nike Wolfsburg 25-26 third football shirt will not be made available for retail, making it an exclusive piece for the players. A signed matchworn version will be given away to one season ticket holder at the club’s first Bundesliga home match against Mainz on 31 August.
