Adidas Mexico 1986 World Cup Remake Kit & Jacket Released
- Release: Adidas launched a remake kit and collection based on Mexico's 1986 World Cup home shirt on January 13, 2026.
- Kit Design: The remake shirt features a plain green design with an off-white polo collar, the Adidas Trefoil logo, and the Mexico crest from 1986.
- Additional Apparel: Adidas is also releasing a 1986 Mexico tracksuit and training pants with vintage styling and the classic green, red, and white colorway.
Update: The Mexican national team wore their Adidas 2026 retro collection ahead of their match against Panama. Unfortunately, Mexico decided to put several sponsor logos on the jackets worn by their national team players, ruining the classic look.

The new Adidas Mexico 2025 1986 remake shirt features the classic plain green design with an off-white polo collar. The iconic Adidas Trefoil logo appears on the right chest to stay true to the original look.
On the left chest of the Mexico 1986-2026 remake kit, lower than the Adidas Trefoil logo, sits the Mexico crest from that time.
In the 1986 World Cup, Mexico reached the quarter-finals, their best finish at the time, before falling to West Germany in a penalty shootout. The performance cemented El Tri’s place in football history and made the green jersey a national symbol.
