Pumas UNAM to Sign Puma Kit Deal
The current contract between Pumas and Nike is set to expire at the end of the 2025-26 season, and an extension is now considered unlikely. Puma is replacing Nike as the team's kit supplier starting from the 2026-27 season. This move would mark a sensational return for the brand to the Mexico City-based club.
A Return to a Former Partner After 12 Years
Should this deal materialize, it would see Pumas and Nike end their partnership after 12 years (since 2014). Coincidentally, they would be reuniting with Puma, who was their kit supplier for five years immediately prior to Nike, from 2009 to 2014.
As seen in the club's supplier history, Pumas have worked with a variety of brands over the years, including Lotto and even a previous stint with Nike from 1995 to 2002.

The Kappa CD Guadalajara 26-27 away shirt is predominantly bright yellow, paired with bold purple accents honoring the club's signature morado shade.
