Sampdoria have officially released a stunning limited-edition shirt to commemorate the 40th anniversary of their historic 1985 Coppa Italia triumph. The shirt celebrates the club’s iconic victory over AC Milan, which marked the first major trophy in Sampdoria’s history.

The Macron U.C. Sampdoria 2025 40th Anniversary Coppa Italia Celebration football shirt pays tribute to the club’s legendary 1984-85 campaign under Eugenio Bersellini. Designed in Samp’s classic blue, the shirt features the unmistakable red, white, and black horizontal bands, paired with elegant retro detailing throughout.
A standout element is the embroidered inscription “3 Luglio 1985” on the back of the collar - the date when Sampdoria sealed their 2-1 win over Milan in the second leg of the final.
The Scudetto-style tricolore roundel badge honours the Coppa Italia victory, while inside the premium presentation box, fans will find printed references to both legs of the final.
Only 500 individually numbered shirts have been produced, ranging from 1/500 to 500/500. Each comes in a special collector’s box that charts the team’s victorious journey in the 1984-85 Coppa Italia.
