Finding non-gambling sponsors at similar values is expected to be a challenge, with industry experts predicting some clubs will see front-of-shirt revenues cut in half in the first season after the ban.
While gambling firms will still be able to advertise on sleeves, training wear, and LED boards, the Premier League hopes the move will reduce exposure during matches. Clubs are now being pushed towards new markets, with industries like finance, airlines, IT, crypto, and tourism highlighted as possible growth sectors.
