Middlesbrough FC has officially revealed their new club crest, which will be introduced ahead of the 2026–27 season, the same year the club celebrates its 150th anniversary.
Middlesbrough FC Unveil New Crest for 2026 - 150th Anniversary Year
Developed through an 18-month consultation process with supporters, the new Middlesbrough 2026 logo marks a return to the roundel shape - a fan favourite and a nod to the crest first seen during the club’s revival in 1986. The emblem proudly features “Middlesbrough Football Club” in full, with the founding year 1876 displayed across the iconic white band introduced under Jack Charlton.
At the heart of the design remains the lion rampant, a long-standing symbol of Middlesbrough, now subtly incorporating local landmarks such as the River Tees and Roseberry Topping into its detailing.
