Adidas Brings Tongue to Second-Best, Small-Sided Predator 26 Boots

Adidas has a major upgrade for small-sided players: the Predator 26’s trademark folding tongue is coming to the Pro TF tier, the second-best Adidas model. Last year, the Predator 25 offered the tongue only on the League TF tier, but for 2026, the feature expands across both Pro and League models. Adidas Predator 26 Pro TF Folded Tongue

The Predator 26 Pro TF (folded tongue) football shoes mirrors the look of the flagship FG/AG/SG-Pro model, including the new sole unit inspired by the FG tooling but reworked for artificial turf (including the Powerspine technology). The result is a cleaner, sleeker profile that still delivers grip and stability on short-pile surfaces. The sole also recalls elements from the X Crazyfast TF line, giving the shoe a familiar yet refreshed feel.

It’s a strong move from Adidas and welcome news for the amateur football community, bringing one of the Predator line’s most nostalgic features to a higher-performance TF option.
