  • 2027 FIFA Women’s World Cup Branding Unveiled: FIFA revealed the logo and branding for the 2027 Women’s World Cup in Brazil, incorporating Brazilian identity and the geometry of a football pitch.
  • Emblem and Slogan: The logo combines the letters 'W' and 'M' and features a gold trophy, while the slogan 'GO EPIC' and a samba-influenced sonic identity were also introduced.
  • FIFA President's Statement: Gianni Infantino described the brand as joyful and unmistakably Brazilian, emphasizing the tournament’s role in inspiring future generations.

FIFA has officially unveiled the branding for the Women’s World Cup 2027, marking the start of the road to Brazil with a launch event at Copacabana Beach in Rio de Janeiro. The tournament will be the first Women’s World Cup held in South America, and FIFA leaned heavily into Brazilian identity for the reveal.

2027 FIFA Women’s World Cup Logo

The new 2027 FIFA Women’s World Cup emblem draws inspiration from the Brazilian flag and the geometry of a football pitch, combining the letters “W” and “M” to reference women and the world in both English and Portuguese. Alongside the emblem, FIFA introduced the “GO EPIC” slogan and a samba-influenced sonic identity designed to be used across broadcasts and digital platforms.

Indeed, the new 2027 FIFA Women’s World Cup Logo follows the style of the 2026 Men's World Cup logo - the gold trophy stands out in full colors, with the other elements black.

FIFA President Gianni Infantino described the brand as joyful and unmistakably Brazilian, while legends from both the women’s and men’s game attended the ceremony. Former Brazil internationals Formiga and Marta also featured, highlighting the tournament’s role in inspiring future generations and growing the women’s game in the region.

Nottingham Forest Announce Marex Front-of-Shirt Sponsorship Deal

Nottingham Forest have officially announced a multi-year Principal Partnership with global financial services platform Marex. Starting with the 26-27 season, Marex will serve as the club's new front-of-shirt sponsor, replacing gambling brand Bally's. The agreement is reported to be worth approximately £25 million over a three-year period.

The clean Marex wordmark and arrow logo will be featured across the front of the Nottingham Forest men's and women's first-team playing and replica kits, as well as the club's netball team dresses. In addition to primary kit placement, Marex will become Forest's official Global Markets Partner and exclusive provider of foreign exchange and financial services.

The announcement resolves Forest's search for a principal partner just ahead of the new Premier League campaign, following a pre-season without a front-of-shirt sponsor. The transition also aligns with the Premier League's upcoming voluntary ban on gambling companies occupying front-of-shirt sponsorship inventory.
