Szoboszlai to Switch to Nike Tiempo?

  • Szoboszlai Spotted in Nike Tiempos: Dominik Szoboszlai was seen training in Nike Tiempo boots, sparking speculation about a switch from his usual Mercurial cleats.
  • Switch Not Confirmed: Szoboszlai also wore Mercurials in the same session, suggesting he might be testing the Tiempos as part of Nike's strategy.
  • Nike Promoting Tiempo Cleats: Nike aims to have high-profile players like Szoboszlai, Güler, Estevao and Foden switch to the Tiempo Maestro to reposition the silo in the market.

Liverpool midfielder Dominik Szoboszlai has been spotted wearing the new Nike Attack Pack Tiempo football boots during today's training session, raising questions about a possible switch away from his usual Mercurial boots. The Liverpool midfielder is a long-time Mercurial wearer, making the sighting notable.

Szoboszlai Tests Nike Tiempo Maestro Soccer Cleats in Training

However, Szoboszlai was also seen wearing his familiar Mercurials during the same training session, suggesting that any change is not yet confirmed and could simply be part of Nike testing. Players trial different models in training before committing to a full switch, but it is not often that a switch is not completed.

Indeed, Nike wants several high-profile players to make the switch to the Tiempo Maestro soccer cleats with the launch of the new generation, including Arda Güler, Estevao, and Phil Foden. This is a clear strategy to reposition the Tiempo in the boots market. However, Foden and Güler still use their familiar old silos regularly.

Fabrizio Romano was acquired by Nike to announce the Tiempo switch of several players, but the players themselves do not seem 100% happy with their new silo.

Do you think Szoboszlai will complete the Tiempo switch? Let us know in the comments.

Awesome: Leeds United 26-27 Home Kit Concept Based on Leaked Bayern München Away Kit

A stylish Leeds United home kit concept has caught the attention of fans online. Created by Leeds supporter and graphic designer @ZK1919, the concept directly adapts the design of an Adidas FC Bayern away kit, transforming it into a Leeds home shirt.

The concept features the classic Adidas Trefoil logo and integrates Leeds United's front-of-shirt sponsor, Red Bull. To match the club's traditional colors, the designer swapped the original red accents for yellow and outlined the Red Bull logo in blue. The concept also sparked discussions among supporters regarding the exact shade of yellow, the choice of the club badge, and the potential constraints of Red Bull's corporate branding rules on future kits.

While purely a fan-made design and not an official leak for the 2026-27 season, it highlights the potential of an Adidas Trefoil Leeds kit. The actual Leeds United 26-27 home kit has been very unpopular ahead of its release.
