The Adidas Hamburg 25-26 special football shirt features a predominantly white base with blue horizontal stripes, maroon round collar, and prominent gold accents, including a "1887" neck print, adidas shoulder stripes, and gold flock for back numbers and sponsors. It is a striking look that is not traditional for the club.

A unique personalization option allows fans to add a special "1887 flock" featuring the names of all 465 players who have appeared for HSV in Bundesliga history integrated into the number design.

Hamburg created parts of the launch video with the help of AI, with some weird typos - e.g., KCN instead of HSV on the back of the Van der Vaart kit.

HSV becomes only the seventh Bundesliga club to reach a total number of matches matching their founding year. The Adidas Hamburger SV 2025-26 special shirt is not a 100% bespoke design but was created using Locker Room, in partnership with adidas and 11teamsports.
