FC Basel have officially unveiled their vibrant 2025-26 Carnival (Fasnacht) shirt, celebrating the city’s world-famous Basler Fasnacht with one of the boldest football shirts of the season.

The Macron FC Basel 1893 2025-2026 Carnival jersey is described by the club as “Ein Shirt. Ein Kunstwerk”. The design captures the chaos, rhythm and energy of Fasnacht - loud, playful and unmistakably red and blue.

The Macron FC Basel 2025-26 Carnival shirt combines a spray-paint-inspired Blätzli-Bajass pattern with a mural-style artwork packed with intricate details.

Across the red and blue base, you can spot references to Fasnacht culture and football alike: drum, piccolo, drumsticks, football boots, ball and graffiti-style tags.

The longer you look, the more elements emerge, reinforcing the concept of organized carnival chaos.

The mural graphic wraps around the body, creating a fully immersive effect. On the back, the Blätzli-Bajass pattern dominates, paired with a light-colored number outlined in dark red for strong contrast.

Inside the collar, the official Fasnacht badge featuring this year’s motto “BLYYB VERSPIILT” appears exclusively on the player shirts, adding an authentic local touch.
