It remains to be seen if the Blackburn Rovers 26-27 kits will feature the Castore logo or the logo of Umbro, for which Castore has the license rights and which has a much better reputation.
Macron's decision to take the matter to court stems from an exclusivity clause included in the contract, according to The Telegraph. This clause prevented Blackburn from entering into negotiations with another kit supplier before the end of the period reserved for Macron. The Italian manufacturer accuses the club of breaching this clause by initiating premature discussions with other brands, which could include Castore or Umbro.
