Footy Headlines Introduces View Counts and Up/Downvotes

  • View Counts Introduced: Footy Headlines now displays view counts on each article, counting each unique reader once when they open the article page.
  • Upvote/Downvote System: Footy Headlines has implemented an upvote/downvote system allowing users to rate the importance or accuracy of stories.
  • Features Live Now: Both the view counts and upvote/downvote features are active on all articles as of today.

Footy Headlines has this week introduced two new features across the site: view counts and an up/downvote system.

Footy Headlines View Counts

View counts are now displayed on every article. A view is recorded when you open the article page - not from the homepage or anywhere else, as done by most social media platforms that love to display inflated numbers. Each person is counted once only, so the number you see reflects real, unique readers.

Footy Headlines Upvote & Downvotes

You will also find upvote and downvote arrows. If a story deserves more attention, push it up. If you think it is overblown or inaccurate, push it down.

Both features are live across all articles as of today.
